Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and delivery of Environmental & Social Impact Assessments in line with Saudi regulatory requirements and international lender standards.
• Apply IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, and other international E&S frameworks to project work.
• Contribute to baseline studies, impact assessments, stakeholder engagement planning, and mitigation strategies.
• Assist in managing multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating tasks to ensure timely, high-quality outputs.
• Engage with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders to support project approvals and compliance.
• Prepare clear, well-structured technical reports and presentations.
• Support senior team members in project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Social Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Solid technical understanding of ESIA methodologies and socio-economic assessment.
• Experience applying IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, or other lender requirements.
• Proven consultancy experience delivering ESIA projects for private or public sector clients.
• Project management experience within an ESIA or environmental consulting context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Experience working in the Middle East or emerging markets is an advantage.

• Experience across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, industrial development, or real estate.
• Familiarity with Saudi and GCC environmental permitting processes.
• Ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
