Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Specialist role based in Jaipur.
The EHS Specialist will develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with local regulations and company standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and monitoring the effectiveness of safety controls.
The role involves delivering safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to team members at all levels.
The EHS Specialist will also investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, track safety performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in EHS practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices, including applicable regulations and standards.
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management, including risk assessments, audits, and corrective action planning.
- Proficiency in Workplace Safety practices, such as hazard identification, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness.
- Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs and awareness campaigns for diverse teams.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001/14001 knowledge) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors on-site.
