Environmental, Health & Safety Site Representative (MS, Brookhaven)

EH&S Site Rep will be responsible for executing the safety operating system in the plant and an advocate for compliance to all EHS requirements.

• Subject matter expert for Environment, Health, and Safety requirements in a manufacturing environment as regulated by Government or Industry Standards and/or ability to grow knowledge working with EHS Corp
• Maintain EHS standard visual controls in the plant- Management of the safety operating system for the plant, given direction from DCS NA EHS Manager & EHS Corp
• Internal assessments of plant compliance to EHS requirements
• Host external assessments, coordinate follow up activities until closure
• Coordinate initial investigations and complete reports for safety incidents
• Participate on problem solving teams to identify root cause and systemic corrective actions on LWD and serous incidents
• Work with operators (union), plant Supervisors, plant Generals, and other functional departments to train, coordinate EHS activities and participate on problem solving team. Includes taking direction from Plant Manager and DCS NA EHS Manager
• Report metrics and status of EHS performance- Assess safety bulletins from other plants for applicability and take necessary action with plant personnel to prevent similar occurrence
• Champion for SAFETY FIRST culture and promote zero incidents
