Entry-Level HVAC Service Technician

Duties

• As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including, but not limited to:
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for both commercial and residential customers. This includes air conditioning systems, chillers, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting electrical wiring.
• Responding to emergency call-outs, quickly identifying the problem and implementing a suitable solution.
• Providing technical support and advice to customers, explaining complex HVAC issues in a clear, understandable manner.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and reporting any issues encountered.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experiences

• Some experience as an HVAC Service Technician or recent HVAC certification graduate preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience working with commercial HVAC systems and chillers is a plus.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
