Role overview

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter authority on Verkada's products and communicate their value throughout the sales process.
• Help expand the company's footprint among Fortune 500 and other enterprise customers with territory account executives.
• Work with customers and partners, design deployments, and provide technical support to account representatives.
• Handle technical objections, present solutions to stakeholders at multiple levels, and train customers, partners, and employees.
• Travel regularly, estimated at more than 50% of the time, for domestic and international customer, partner, and team engagements.

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of Sales Engineer experience and a proven record working with Fortune 500 companies.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills; fluency in French is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or security field from an accredited university.
• Strong networking background, including HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP, and firewalls.
• Must be independently authorized to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role.

Preferred qualifications

• AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, or CSP certifications are bonuses.
• Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python, other coding languages, or startups is a plus.
