Role overview

Essential functions

• Design and implement strategic and tactical plans for managing corporate systems and software.
• Ensure system architectures align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Provide architecture expertise and direction to analysts, engineers, architects, and software development teams.
• Develop and communicate systems architecture investment plans, including cost-reduction analysis.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend technologies to improve cost effectiveness and system capabilities.
• Evaluate and select technologies needed to complete systems and software plans.
• Lead architecture work across business, product, engineering, data, integration, cloud, and emerging AI initiatives.
• Advise teams on technology trade-offs, solution design, architecture governance, and complex technical issues.
• Develop and implement products or approaches using new and existing technologies.

Role requirements

• Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple teams and facilitating solution-design discussions.
• Candidates should produce clear architecture documentation and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Utah residence or willingness to relocate within reasonable commuting distance of Select Health's offices is preferred.

Work arrangements

• The role works Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
• A Microsoft Teams video interview is required; onsite interviews or meetings may also be requested.
