About This Role
Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of WTCO s enterprise risk management framework. Involves conducting detailed risk analyses, contributing to risk mitigation strategies, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the organization s risk management objectives are achieved.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..).
- Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Assist in implementing the ERM framework, ensuring all processes and policies are aligned with the organization s strategic and operational goals.
- Perform comprehensive risk identification and assessment activities, collaborating with various business units to evaluate potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and update the corporate risk register, ensuring it accurately reflects the current risk landscape and includes actionable mitigation plans.
- Guide the continuous improvement of insurance coverage frameworks by assessing emerging risks, market practices, and organizational needs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities 2
- Research emerging risks and trends, providing insights to enhance WTCO s preparedness and risk resilience.
- Monitor and review risk performance indicators to measure risk contribution to ensure the cost-effectiveness of existing controls and introduce improvements.
- Track key risk indicators (KRIs) and ensure appropriate measures are in place to address any deviations or adverse trends.
- Prepare detailed risk management reports, highlighting key findings, risk trends, and mitigation recommendations for leadership review.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to ensure alignment in risk management practices and provide technical support on risk-related issues.
- Assist in delivering training programs and workshops to promote a culture of risk awareness across the organization.
