Enterprise Architecture Officer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and implementing the enterprise architecture framework and processes in alignment with the organization's strategic goals
• Work closely with IT and business leaders to understand business requirements and develop architectural solutions that promote efficiency and innovation
• Maintain and update architectural documentation, including roadmaps, models, and design specifications to represent the architecture landscape
• Assess existing IT systems and infrastructure, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending new technologies and practices
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of technological advancements
• Provide guidance on the integration of applications and systems to ensure coherence and interoperability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7 years experience in enterprise architecture or a related role, demonstrating a solid understanding of architecture principles and frameworks
• Ability to assess compliance and prepare required reports
• Strong knowledge of information technology and system design, including software development processes and methodologies
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline
• Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF framework)
• Experience with cloud computing technologies and platforms, as well as understanding of data governance and management
