Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Infrastructure Engineer to work on a Contract, Part-time basis.

This role involves designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions to support the development of frontier AI models.

The successful candidate will shape how AI systems learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input from domain experts across various industries.

The client utilizes a platform that identifies and vets top talent through an AI recruiter, enabling high-quality contributions at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Terraform.
  • Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime and high availability.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Implement network virtualization and storage systems to optimize infrastructure performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring adherence to security best practices, compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), cloud security, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, including Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Proficiency in networking, virtualization, and storage systems, with experience in designing and deploying scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
