About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced
Enterprise Architect β AI Architect
to join the Enterprise Architecture team of a leading bank in the UAE.
This role will define and drive
AI, data, and enterprise technology architecture strategy
, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and long-term digital transformation objectives.
You will play a key role in shaping enterprise-wide AI capabilities, governance frameworks, and modern architecture standards across cloud and data platforms.
AI & Enterprise Architecture Leadership
- Define enterprise AI architecture foundations, standards, and reference models
- Lead AI/ML, GenAI, MLOps, LLMOps, and Agentic AI architecture design
- Build long-term AI platform and capability roadmaps
Future-State Architecture & Strategy
- Define target-state architecture, principles, and standards
- Drive modernization, consolidation, and legacy transformation
- Develop architecture roadmaps and decision frameworks
Technology & Lifecycle Governance
- Own domain technology catalog (Invest / Hold / Retire decisions)
- Prevent technology sprawl and enforce architecture guardrails
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture governance
Cloud & Data Architecture
- Work across AWS & Azure hybrid cloud environments
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient AI/data platforms
- Ensure security-by-design and regulatory compliance
Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, and business teams
- Lead architecture governance forums and design reviews
- Influence architectural outcomes across teams
Required Experience
- 15+ years in Enterprise / Domain / Solution Architecture roles
- Strong hands-on engineering background (DevOps / Software / Platform Engineering)
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, GenAI, MLOps, AIOps
- Experience in banking or regulated enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, cloud-native systems
- Experience in data architecture and large-scale distributed systems
- Familiarity with TOGAF and Agile/DevOps (preferred)
