Role Overview
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ERPNext Developer with strong expertise in Python and the Frappe Framework.
Deep hands-on experience in ERPNext development, customization, and integration, with exposure to financial modules and business processes.
Requires designing scalable solutions, optimizing ERP workflows, and supporting business-critical financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ERPNext applications using Python and Frappe Framework.
- Implement and maintain ERPNext modules, particularly in Finance, Accounting, and Operations.
- Develop custom apps, scripts, reports, and workflows based on business requirements.
- Integrate ERPNext with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, logistics, external APIs).
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and security.
- Handle database design, migrations, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Product) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing ERPNext implementations.
- Maintain proper documentation for customizations and integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERPNext and Frappe Framework.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Solid experience in ERPNext Finance modules (GL, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Invoicing, Taxation).
- Experience with MariaDB/MySQL, REST APIs, and backend architecture.
- Strong understanding of business workflows, especially in finance and accounting.
- Experience in customizing DocTypes, Scripts, Workflows, and Reports.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ERP implementations in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce domains.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, payment systems).
- Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) within Frappe.
- Experience with cloud deployment and DevOps practices.
