The Teacher will create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will contribute to a collaborative teaching team and play an active part in the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well structured lessons aligned with the US curriculum
- Create a positive, student centred learning environment that supports individual progress
- Use a range of assessment strategies to track learning and provide clear feedback
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity across all subject areas
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to school events, enrichment activities, and year group initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and support the school s reporting processes
- Participate in professional development and contribute to ongoing school improvement
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s Degree
- PGCE or QTS
- Minimum of 3 years of full time teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the US curriculum
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student wellbeing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team
- Nice to Have
- Experience teaching in an international school setting
- Familiarity with supporting students who are English language learners
- Involvement in extracurricular or after school programmes
