Due to the continued success of our new school GEMS Founders School Dubai South, we are looking to recruit an English/Drama to join us in August 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for more experienced teachers to take the next step in their career with a global leading company and within a world-class International School located in Dubai.
We are British Schools Overseas (BSO) accredited gaining Outstanding judgements in all standards, allowing us to offer the NQT, QTS and iPGCE programmes to our teachers through the TES Institute.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and delivery of the science curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across all key stages.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely intervention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to promote a cohesive educational experience.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Skills
- Successful candidates will need to:
- Embody and role model our core values of Grow, Flourish & Discover "You"
- Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree in English/Drama with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
- A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
- Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
- Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
- Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.
- GEMS Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of its students and staff.
- A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
