About This Role
Overview
- Score Plus Learning is hiring English and Math Trainers to join its Test Preparation Academic Team in Sharjah, UAE to teach English and Math to help high schoolers, college students and working professionals to improve their admissions test taking potential and achieve higher test scores for university admissions.
- You might be a strong presenter and discussion leader, or you could even have experienced teaching and tutoring.
- Either way, Score Plus Learning’s superior training and comprehensive curriculum will give you the skills you need to lead and support students through their test prep journey.
- If you're interested in helping students improve their test scores, work for a company with a 24 year old history in UAE of helping students gain acceptance into the university of their best fit universities around the world by improving their standardized test scores in IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, ACT, GMAT and GRE scores!
- As an English or Math Instructor, you will be expected to:
- Instruct students in a dynamic and supportive manner, adapting to students’ needs and keeping them engaged with the English and Math materials
- Motivate your students through a results oriented, time-tested curriculum in order to build stronger, more confident learners and test-takers
- Model professionalism and accountability at all times by showing up to class on time, replying to students in a timely manner, and holding students accountable for assignments
- Create an open, safe, and positive learning environment
- Conduct presentations at local institutions such as schools, universities and corporates
- Participate in professional development workshops and staff meetings as scheduled
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject matter in English and Math
- Minimum 2 years of English Language teaching or Math tutoring experience with superior oral and written communication skills
