Engineering Technician I

Associates of Applied Science degree in engineering technology or an engineering discipline and one year of job-related experience OR High School diploma / General Education Development (GED) diploma and three years of job-related experience

Demonstrated experience assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting

Demonstrated experience performing simple to medium complexity tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests, operating and adjusting simple test equipment, and recording test data

Demonstrated experience gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests and drawings

Demonstrated experience with performing computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas, plotting data, and drawing simple curves and graphs

Demonstrated experience compiling data related to design, specifications, materials, previous operational failures, and modifications to identify inconsistencies or gaps in data

Demonstrated experience reading, interpreting, and understanding blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and other drawings

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
