What you’ll do
- This position is for a TEM operator working a Front End Night shift. Shift will be 12hrs Sunday-Tuesday plus every other Saturday Operate a state-of-the-art TEM in order to image semiconductor samples. Protect customer IP through procedure and vigilance. Generate and integrate feedback contributing to the continuous improvement of the sample preparation process. Produce the best quality data in support of Lam's processes. Careful, detail-oriented observers. Fondness of learning and ability to respond well to feedback. Willingness to work a night shift schedule as described above.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience operating HRTEM and S/TEM for imaging. Ideal candidates will have performed semiconductor or materials imaging. A BS or Associate level degree in a physical science such as Physics, Engineering or Chemistry. Knowledge of physics involved with FIB/SEM and TEM tools, such as vacuum systems, diffraction, and ion sputtering behavior. Experience in customer IP protection and sample handling. Experience with TEM sample preparation using a FIB preferred. Experience with EDS and EELS preferred.
