Engineering Manager

Overview

• During the construction of our new Solar PV projects in the UAE or in KSA, we are looking for an Engineering Manager for our SPVs
• Reporting to the EMD you will be in charge of:
• Valuating, preparing pre-feasibility and feasibility reports for the solar project.
• Creating RFP, DOR’s for subcontractors and responsible for technical closures of bid submissions.
• Conducting technical due diligence of WTGs & evaluating the WTG specifications to determine the compatibility with site factors.
• Finalising PV modules, Inverter specifications and other BOP scopes such as
• substation, EHV, WTG foundation, intercarting / access road works, etc.,
• Leading the support team on behalf of Engineering during the project’s
• phases of the project and ensure that the project is completed within the agreed terms.
• Defining the Capex & Opex estimation for the project, in collaboration with other E&C
• units, Business Development and Procurement for Bid submissions with be best possible
• LCOE.
• Preparing assumption / costing book for the project, in coordination with the
• relevant stake holders such as Business Development, Procurement, Design to Cost,
• Design units, Environmental, sustainability units and other Internal Departments, and
• submission to the Organization Investment Committee for approval.
• Leading and managing the technical delivery of the Project in accordance with Design
• Management Plan(s), including Concept Design, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design
• Technology selection and other Engineering Scopes including electrical BOP.
• Managing OEMs, consultants, engineers, and cross link functions/ internal stakeholders
• to ensure the project is complete.
