Role overview
Part-time Engineering Manager role based in Dubai with a hybrid work model combining on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.
Oversee software engineering teams and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance, plan and prioritize work, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Review designs and code, and support integration across systems and services.
- Mentor team members, facilitate communication, and remove blockers to maintain productivity and quality.
- Align technical solutions with business needs through stakeholder collaboration.
- Improve engineering processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Strong engineering management, team leadership, software development, project management, and integration experience.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid Dubai setup and communicate across functions.
- Agile methodologies, CI/CD, code review, and cloud environment familiarity are beneficial.
- A track record of mentoring engineers, driving process improvement, and maintaining quality and reliability standards.
