Role responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop engineering teams across projects and functions; plan and oversee projects from concept through delivery.
- Set technical standards, processes, performance goals, and quality requirements; manage schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
- Review designs, specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation; identify technical risks and implement mitigations.
- Coordinate across departments and manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, and technical partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor KPIs, project performance, costs, and productivity; drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least six years of engineering experience, including proven management or leadership experience.
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to the organization's engineering operations and demonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, budgets, and resources.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional engineering certification is advantageous where applicable; UAE or GCC engineering experience is highly desirable.
