Position Summary

Support the Industrial Services team in the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of factory utility systems.

The position supports compressed air, process water, chilled water, steam, and gas systems.

The internship lasts 3 to 6 months and reports to the Industrial Services Manager.

A Day in the Life

  • Review and update SHE maps, PPE matrices, safety documentation, and visual controls.
  • Assess and support 5S practices within the Industrial Services area.
  • Establish visual standards, checklists, and follow-up mechanisms for workplace organization and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain records related to safety controls, PPE requirements, visual management, and 5S activities.
  • Support operation and maintenance of compressed air, process water, chilled water, steam, and gas utility systems.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities for utility equipment.
  • Support energy and water reduction projects within the factory.
  • Support day-to-day operational activities, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree student or recent graduate in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong interest in industrial services, utilities, maintenance, and manufacturing operations.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices and risk management.
  • Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a manufacturing environment.

Location

  • The internship is based at Nestlé Dubai Manufacturing LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • The work is performed in a manufacturing environment supporting factory industrial services.
