Support hotel engineering maintenance and equipment operations, contributing to reliable hotel services and guest experiences.
The role includes assigned work-order maintenance and assistance with other engineering department maintenance work.
Responsibilities
- Follow staff rules, regulations, and management instructions, and operate equipment safely.
- Ensure normal operation of hotel power, water, gas, heating, and cooling equipment.
- Inspect equipment operation records and shift handover records promptly and accurately.
- Inspect and maintain assigned equipment and facilities in good working condition.
- Control energy consumption and implement efficiency measures.
- Follow up on maintenance work for banquets and meetings to ensure equipment functions properly.
- Test-run the generator regularly to support power generation and transmission during power failures.
- Inspect hotel fire-prevention work and take measures to stop violations.
- Supervise and train technicians and apprentices.
- Manage working tools, register team members’ tool use, and recommend disciplinary action for subordinates when needed.
Minimum qualifications
- Familiarity with operating principles and fault diagnosis for large data-centre infrastructure, including power, air conditioning, fire control, security, monitoring, and network systems.
- Willingness to work long-term in a monitoring post on day and night shifts, with sufficient time to study.
- Strong responsibility, teamwork, professionalism, and learning ability.
- Active and motivated approach to work with a good sense of service.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
