What you’ll do?

• Develop and implement testing & commissioning plans and programs.
• Ensure execution and completion of testing activities as per approved schedules.
• Monitor and control progress of electrical testing works.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and stakeholders for testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety (HSE) and quality standards throughout project execution.
• Oversee daily T&C activities and ensure adherence to project milestones.
• Identify critical issues and escalate for timely resolution.
• Support successful energization and commissioning of substations.
• Execute day-to-day testing and commissioning activities across substations.
• Prepare and follow testing procedures, method statements, and schedules.
• Conduct testing of: Switchgear (132kV / 33kV GIS / 11kV) Protection systems and control schemes Transformers, capacitor banks, and auxiliary systems Perform relay testing and configuration (numerical relays).
• Monitor progress vs. plan and update daily reports.
• Track manpower utilization vs. progress.
• Ensure proper documentation, reports, and test records are maintained.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Support remote end works and bay modification activities.

Who you are?

• A bachelor’s degree holder in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
• 5 to10 years' experience in Testing & Commissioning of substations in the UAE.
• Hands on experience in 132/220/400 KV Substations.
• Proven track-record in successful substation commissioning projects.
