Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Engineering

Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Prove CNC programs on turning and turn-mill machining centers with SIEMENS, FANUC, or Mazak controllers.
• Generate and verify tool paths using NX, FeatureCAM, and VERICUT.
• Prepare setup sheets, operational drawings, and operator work instructions.
• Design fixture concepts using AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, or FeatureCAM.
• Select cutting tools and cutting parameters and manage NC program configuration.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on manufacturing cost and cycle-time optimization.
• Manage new product introduction and deliver robust, repeatable manufacturing methods.
• Create engineering standards and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate customer delivery requirements and material handling for new business.
• Support training, health and safety, environmental risk controls, and engineering system activities.

Education and Experience

• BE in Mechanical Engineering, BE in Production Engineering, or DME with at least 5 years of experience.
• Engineer candidates should have 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Engineer candidates should have 7–8 years of relevant experience.
• Aerospace industry experience is preferred.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with NX CAD/CAM, FeatureCAM, CATIA CAM V5, AutoCAD, and VERICUT.
• Knowledge of turning, milling, drilling, boring, slitting, and related metal-cutting processes.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, holders, and parameters for aluminum alloys, titanium, and Inconel.
• Experience with SIEMENS 810D/840D, FANUC, and Mazak controls.
• Knowledge of 2D manual and 3D CNC programming.
• Fluent knowledge of GD&T, fits and tolerances, aerospace materials, special processes, and treatments.
• Awareness of PFMEA, 5S, and seven QC problem-solving tools.
