Job Description
The Engineer - Projects & FM is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technical facility projects while ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of building services.
This role serves as the critical link between capital project execution and long-term asset lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise building upgrades, MEP retrofits, and civil works on time and within budget.
- Manage the snagging, commissioning, and formal handover of newly completed projects into the active FM asset registry.
- Supervise integrated facilities management teams or contractors to ensure high uptime on critical HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
- Monitor the performance of external vendors against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all project and facility operations comply with local building regulations, civil defense codes, and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience blending site project engineering with facility maintenance management.
