Engineer - Network Security

About This Role

Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in network and security project implementations, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of tailored client solutions.
• Own and manage operational incidents, changes, and problems, leveraging ITIL standards and best practices for efficient resolution.
• Deploy, configure, and support a wide range of network and security devices, including firewalls, load balancers, NGFWs, proxies, IPS, NAC, VPN, PAM, and cloud infrastructure components such as Azure/Oracle/Google NVA, V-Nets, and WAFs.
• Demonstrate expertise in managing the full Fortinet portfolio (SASE, Firewall, Analyzer, Manager, Sandbox) along with, Email Security Gateway, Web Proxy, Firewall & Security Gateway Network Devices (Switches, Routers, Sensors)Access Points & Network Firewalls
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and peer teams for device upgrades, data center operations, hardware replacements, migrations, and new technology integrations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including inventories, network diagrams, and SOPs, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Monitor network performance and availability, responding to service disruptions and degradation incidents proactively.
• Conduct regular configuration reviews and recommend optimizations to enhance security, reliability, and performance.
• Manage multiple projects and operational tasks while providing after-hours support for incident resolution and change management.
• Travel to client and data center locations as required for project and operational needs.
• Available 24/7 for critical incident resolution, change management, and operational support.

Qualifications Interpersonal skill Explanation and Documentation: Clearly articulate complex security concepts, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical stakeholders .

Leadership and Teamwork Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, providing guidance and assistance where needed.

Leadership: Take a leadership role in security initiatives and projects, guiding team members toward common goals.

Client Engagement: Interact with clients to understand requirements, explain technical concepts in a comprehensible manner, and ensure client satisfaction.

Problem Solving Analytical Thinking: Apply analytical thinking to solve complex network security issues efficiently.

Decision-Making: Make informed decisions, considering the potential impact on the network security

Qualification

(Special behavioral skills, knowledge, experience and Education needed for the satisfactory performance of the job)

• KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree (Must Have)
• Proven experience as a Sr.Network & Security Engineer, with a minimum of 10 years’ Experience in a similar Operation Center
• Certification in the relevant Technologies
• Technical Competency
• Operation and Engineering/Implementation Experience

• Excellent L2/L3 Troubleshooting Skills

• Manage Firewalls – FortiGate, Palo Alto VM, Fortinet VM, Azure Native Firewall (VPN, SSL, NAC)

Must Have

• Management of Azure NVA, V-Nets

• Manage Fortinet Technologies – FortiGate, FortiADC, FortiWeb, FortiSandbox, SASE, Analyzer, Manager

• Manage Email Security and Proxy ( Barracuda )
