Responsibilities

  • Successful candidate will be relied upon to perform a variety of engineering and design activities involving power plant upgrades and/or new power plant projects under the supervision of senior engineering staff. Successful candidate should have working knowledge of evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria. Individual will assist with performing calculations, modifications, and designs. Individual must possess technical knowledge of civil/structural discipline and ability to work on project teams with other engineers to assist in evaluating conditions and developing design changes which will improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Education Required (minimum): a minimum 3.0 GPA in civil engineering from an accredited engineering program.
  • Experience Required (minimum): Demonstrated knowledge of industry codes including ACI, AISC and ASCE 7 is desired. Knowledge can be demonstrated through academic record or work experience.
