Role Description
The Engineer – HVAC – CDU Systems is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Industrial City.
This role focuses on the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of HVAC and CDU (Cooling Distribution Unit) systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and reliability.
Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine inspections, diagnosing faults, coordinating repairs, and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with safety and compliance standards.
The engineer will collaborate with facilities and operations teams, maintain accurate technical documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives for system performance and lifecycle management.
The role also involves providing technical guidance to technicians, responding to system alarms and breakdowns, and ensuring minimal downtime for client facilities.
Qualifications
- Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to plan, implement, and optimize HVAC and CDU systems within complex facilities environments.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to identify root causes of system issues, resolve faults efficiently, and provide guidance to on-site teams.
- System Administration skills to manage system configurations, monitor performance, and maintain operational and maintenance records.
- Relevant technical qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with industrial or commercial HVAC systems, cooling distribution units, and building management systems (BMS).
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in facilities management and HVAC operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills for coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi Industrial City in a fast-paced environment, including participation in shift work or on-call support as required.
