- Knowledge & Experience
- HND or equivalent level 5 qualification OR relevant experience
- Confident and proficient with processes, standards and engineering practices related to corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of networking principles.
- Comprehensive working knowledge and experience of fault finding and troubleshooting and the ability to communicate your findings within a team.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, Digital Television, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwave links, Satellite systems, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.;
- Comprehensive knowledge of RF principles.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, telemetry systems, analogue and digital electronics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
- On a needs basis working away from home will be required.
- Ability to partake in the proactive development of new Technologies and Equipment.
- Takes ownership of own personal development to support business led opportunities.
- Full Driving license required
- Security clearance is required
