Responsibilities include:

Maintain the proper water balance of a 4o,ooo gal swimming pool and 4 hot tubs as described in the Board of Health Codes from the State of CO. and the County of Gilpin.

Maintain all bodies of water in a healthy and sanitary condition

Maintain all associated equipment, i.e pumps, filters, heaters in a safe and operation condition.

Maintain logs and records of all water tests performed and of all work performed on all bodies of water.

Maintain an inventory of all needed chemicals used for maintaining the proper balance of the water which also includes testing reagents.

Drain and thoroughly clean hot tubs on a consistent basis as dictated by the TDS of the water

Maintain an inventory of spare parts for pumps and filters to minimize down time.

Be responsible for performing any in house repairs to equipment, plumbing and electrical systems.

Keep department leadership informed of any issues that may arise with any of the bodies of water.

Maintain the pool deck in a customer ready, welcoming condition, i.e. maintain the lighting on both the indoor and outdoor pool deck and elevator lobbies.

Maintain the pool furniture in a safe and usable condition.

Keep the outdoor planting beds appropriately watered.

Must have at least 2 months experience with water testing and pool and spa maintenance.

Must be able to attend, pass and receive their CPO certification.

Must have good organizational skills.

Must have good communication skills.

Should have basic computer skills.
