Engine Tracking Database Systems Engineer

Position overview

Primary responsibilities

• Assist RSAF Engine Tracking personnel with ETDS use, monitor work accomplishment, and provide local troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Provide system support and enhancements requiring Oracle programming skills.
• Coordinate fleet-wide engine tracking and maintenance data collection from three bases, depot supply, and an external depot module repair center.
• Ensure system data accuracy and integrity.
• Support fleet logistics planning through data extraction and custom report generation.
• Support customer logistics planning requirements with flexibility and communication skills.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 10 years of directly related experience, or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications in lieu of a degree.
• At least two years of hands-on ETDS experience and experience with the F110-GE-129 engine.
• Prior experience as an F110-GE-129 ETDS Administrator.

Technical knowledge

• In-depth understanding of F110-GE-129 engine configuration, TCTO tracking, and required inspections.
• Detailed understanding of the RSAF Oracle and SQL database system.
• At least one year of Oracle experience and the programming ability to support and enhance the system.
• Understanding of SQL, SQL Report Writer, and SQL Forms.
• Understanding of operating systems, Microsoft Office, and TCP/IP networking.

Assignment

• Based at Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• One-year assignment with an option to renew.
• Supports the U.S. Air Force FMS program to the RSAF as part of Contractor Engineering and Technical Support.

Pay range
