Schedule

• 10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

• Shop: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB
• Rate: $54.78

Pre-employment

Engine Rebuild Heavy Equipment Technician (Heavy Duty Mechanic) Qualifications

• Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent
• Must have between (7) and (10) years' Journeyperson experience
• Off Road experience is REQUIRED
• Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu components is REQUIRED
• Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial
• Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
• Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Engine Rebuild Heavy Equipment Technician (Heavy Duty Mechanic) Responsibilities

• Rebuild Cat, Komatsu engines
• Complete overhaul of sub components
• Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
• Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
