Role Description
The Endoscopy Technician – DHA is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, supporting endoscopy procedures within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities include preparing endoscopy rooms and equipment, assisting healthcare professionals during procedures, and ensuring proper handling and care of endoscopic instruments.
The role involves cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing equipment according to established protocols, maintaining procedure documentation, and monitoring supplies and inventory.
The technician collaborates closely with medical and nursing staff to support patient safety, comfort, and adherence to DHA standards and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in endoscopy procedures and equipment handling.
- Strong skills in sterilization processes and infection control practices for medical instruments.
- Background in surgical technology or procedural support in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Experience in medical assisting, patient preparation, and basic clinical workflow.
- Foundational understanding of medicine and medical terminology relevant to gastrointestinal and related procedures.
- DHA eligibility or licensure as required for technical roles in Dubai healthcare facilities.
- Certificate or diploma in endoscopy technology, surgical technology, nursing assistance, or a related healthcare field.
- Ability to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to patient safety, and willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.
