Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
- Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.
- Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
- Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of new staff orientation and education activities.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing or Paramedic program.
- Current RN licensure or EMT-P license
- Five years of critical care experience and one year of teaching experience
- Two years in course coordination
- CPR-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CPR-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- CPR-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- IDPH Lead Instructor within one year of hire
- More than five years of critical care experience and more than one year of teaching experience
- More than four years in course coordination
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree
- Current IDPH Instructor
- ACLS Instructor
- Certified BLST
- Certified PALSI
