Responds to emergency calls, transports patients, provides patient care to Emergency Room on a 24/7 basis, either day or night shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Delivers high-quality patient care both pre-hospital and in-hospital based on a competent understanding of patient needs and established protocols under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and medical oversight.

Operates and maintains EMS vehicles and equipment properly to ensure they are in a constant state of readiness. Performs vehicle checks at the start of each shift, completes necessary checklists and logbooks, and reports any damage or malfunctions immediately,

Completes administrative and clinical functions as assigned by the Operations Supervisor/Manager. Accurately reports all accidents, incidents, breakdowns, defects and completes relevant documentation.

Works harmoniously with EMS team members and other healthcare professionals. Assists in the orientation and professional development of other EMS personnel, promotes a positive attitude and encourages a cohesive teamwork approach.

Addendum: Education:

Diploma in Emergency Medical Services or Higher Degree.
