Handworker / Shaqman (Hand Embroidery Specialist)
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Handworker / Shaqman specializing in luxury handwork and embroidery techniques for abayas, jalabiyas, gowns, and dresses.
The ideal candidate must have excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience in high-quality fashion handwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional hand embroidery and decorative handwork on garments
- Apply beads, stones, sequins, crystals, pearls, lace, and other embellishments by hand
- Execute detailed hand stitching and finishing techniques with precision
- Follow design patterns, samples, and production instructions accurately
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and neat finishing of garments
- Coordinate with designers, tailors, and production staff
- Repair or adjust handwork when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of materials and tools
Requirements
- Proven experience in luxury handwork and embroidery techniques
- Strong skills in beadwork, stonework, sequence work, zari, and other decorative applications
- Experience working with abayas, jalabiyas, gowns, and formal dresses is an advantage
- Good attention to detail and finishing quality
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with good work attitude and professionalism
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of modern and traditional hand embroidery styles
- Ability to create clean, elegant, and luxury handwork designs
- Experience in fashion production or boutique industry
