Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Engineering or Mechatronics from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
- MTech in Embedded Systems, VLSI & Embedded Systems, IoT/Cyber-Physical Systems, Communication Systems/Signal Processing, Instrumentation & Control, or Robotics & Automation.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years in embedded firmware and sensor/IoT hardware for UAVs, robotics or industrial systems.
Job Description
- Develop firmware in C/C++ (and Python where useful) for microcontrollers and SoCs such as STM32, ESP32 and NXP, and for companion computers such as Nvidia GPUs and Raspberry Pi, using RTOS where needed.
- Integrate and calibrate sensors: IMU, GNSS, barometer, rangefinders, lidar/radar, cameras, Drone RADARs, sonar/DVL for underwater platforms, and RF detection for counter-UAV.
- Work with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN/DroneCAN and Ethernet interfaces.
- Build IoT telemetry, data logging and communication links (LoRa, 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, MAVLink) with secure data handling.
- Design schematics and PCBs, run board bring-up and debug with oscilloscopes and logic analysers.
- Optimise power, latency and EMI/EMC performance.
- Work with the Avionics, Software and Integration teams and keep firmware and interface documentation.
