What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing embedded products from concept through production.
• Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development and real-time systems.
• Experience working with embedded Linux platforms.
• Knowledge of microcontroller-based system design and development.
• Experience integrating sensors, signal processing, and power management solutions.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of optics, color science, or measurement systems.
• Experience with digital imaging technologies.
• Understanding of FPGA integration and firmware communication.
• Electronics design experience for precision instruments.
• Familiarity with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and serial communication protocols.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or simulation tools.
• Understanding of product reliability and instrumentation systems.
• Exposure to Agile and Phase-Gate product development methodologies.

• The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
• The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

• Design and develop embedded firmware and electronics for advanced measurement systems.
• Create and maintain performance-critical C++ software for embedded Linux environments.
• Develop low-level drivers and hardware interface components.
• Build and execute automated unit and integration testing within CI/CD environments.

• Support hardware lifecycle management, including component replacement and BSP/driver updates.
• Maintain and enhance existing embedded Linux and bare-metal firmware platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Development, Project Management, and technical leaders around the globe.
