Embedded Software Engineers - Level 2 (Secret) - Chandler (AHT)

Role Overview

Key Skills and Responsibilities

• Develop object-oriented software in C and C++ in a Linux environment.
• Develop, debug, and test embedded real-time software.
• Work with real-time operating systems including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or equivalent systems.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

Engineering Work

• Solve complex problems involving missile defense systems and interceptors.
• Work collaboratively to develop and deploy technologies supporting national security.
• Apply innovation, troubleshooting, agility, flexibility, and communication skills in a technical team environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience, or master's degree with 1 year of professional experience.
• An additional 4 or more years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• An active, current, and in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance is required at application.
• U.S. citizenship is required for positions involving a government clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• A master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• A Top Secret clearance.
• Directly related Guidance, Navigation, and Control experience.

Compensation

• The primary Level 2 salary range is $79,300 to $118,900 yearly.
• Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses depending on the position.
