Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop embedded platform software for powertrain electronic control units from concept through production.
- Design and implement software based on AUTOSAR architecture and standards.
- Support integration, debugging, and validation of embedded software features.
- Perform software troubleshooting across hardware and software interfaces.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews to improve software quality and performance.
- Optimize platform software for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Execute design verification and product validation testing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Strong programming experience in C and C++.
- Experience developing and delivering AUTOSAR-compliant software.
- Solid understanding of AUTOSAR architecture, stack components, and configuration tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.
- Experience using on-chip debugging tools.
- Experience troubleshooting embedded software and hardware issues.
- Hands-on experience with board bring-up activities.
- Experience with scripting and test automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing software for automotive ECUs.
- Knowledge of powertrain systems and vehicle electronics.
- Familiarity with software integration, validation, and production release processes within automotive environments.
- Salary Range
- $105,000 - 115,000
- The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
