Job Summary
An ELV technician is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV products such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire alarm, IP phones, Structured cabling and networking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain CCTV, Access Control, fire alarm, PA, IP phones, and structured cabling systems.
- Perform cable pulling, termination, labelling, and testing.
- Configure and commission ELV equipment devices.
- Troubleshoot faults and perform corrective maintenance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections.
- maintain installation and service records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site personeel during project execution.
Required Skills
- 1-3 years hands on experience in installation of CCTV, Access control, Fire alarm, structured cabling etc.
- Basic networking knowledge is an added advantage.
- Good communication and team work abilities.
- Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
