Role overview

Project and site duties

• Oversees CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, data networks, and related ELV systems.
• Coordinates installation and commissioning, supervises technicians and subcontractors, and manages daily work plans.
• Reviews drawings and technical specifications and collaborates with engineers on design and implementation details.
• Monitors system performance and manages testing, troubleshooting, and corrective action.

Coordination and compliance

• Ensures work follows safety standards, project timelines, local regulations, and company quality procedures.
• Prepares progress reports, maintains documentation, and supports inspections.
• Works with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues.

Technical qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, public address, data, and communication networks, and their installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience supervising site activities, coordinating technicians and subcontractors, and managing daily work plans for ELV projects.
• Able to read technical drawings, schematics, and specifications and troubleshoot faults using root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards, local building codes, and quality assurance procedures for ELV and electrical works.

Education and experience

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Previous construction or facilities project experience in the Middle East or similar environments is an advantage.
• Able to work on-site in Doha and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.

Communication and organization

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills for reports, records, and tracking materials and tools.
