Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha, Qatar, for an ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Draftsman.
The ELV Draftsman will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and layouts for ELV systems, including CCTV and other security systems, using CAD software.
The role also includes reviewing designs, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and collaborating with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate and detailed project documentation.
The Draftsman is expected to contribute to the efficient development of security solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and experience in drafting layouts for ELV systems, such as CCTV and security systems
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and the ability to interpret engineering plans and diagrams
- Knowledge of industry standards and requirements, including MOI-SSD regulations
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing technical documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers and project teams
- Prior experience in the ELV or security systems industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, drafting, or a related field
