Mandatory requirements
- Fluent Arabic is mandatory; good English communication skills are required.
- Extensive Mitsubishi elevator experience, specifically Mitsubishi Electric elevator systems, is mandatory.
- Strong experience in installation, testing and commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service operations is required.
- Proven elevator sales and business development experience is required.
- Leadership and team management skills, including managing technicians, engineers, and subcontractors, are required.
- Candidates must be willing to be based in Yemen and travel within Yemen as required.
Preferred experience
- Five or more years of elevator industry experience is preferred.
- Experience managing elevator installation and service operations, AMC, modernization, and large-scale projects is preferred.
- Experience with MELSA, SMEC, or other authorized Mitsubishi companies or dealers is preferred.
Installation and commissioning
- Supervise installation teams, technicians, and subcontractors; use technical drawings and manage site requirements.
- Coordinate installation with clients, consultants, and contractors and ensure technical, quality, and safety requirements through final handover.
- Supervise testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and commissioning; coordinate third-party inspections and authority requirements.
- Resolve commissioning issues and ensure elevators are operational and ready for final handover.
Maintenance and service operations
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and emergency call-back management.
- Manage technicians and service teams, plan preventive maintenance, and oversee AMC/service contracts and customer requirements.
- Monitor service quality, response time, and customer satisfaction.
Sales and business development
- Develop relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and developers and identify business opportunities in Yemen.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, technical proposals, AMC proposals, and commercial offers.
- Follow projects from enquiry through quotation, negotiation, and award; recommend solutions based on elevator specifications.
Operations and team management
- Manage operations from installation through commissioning, handover, maintenance, service, and sales.
- Lead technicians, engineers, and subcontractors; plan manpower and resources for project and service needs.
- Monitor project schedules, operating costs, and service performance; handle complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare operational, technical, and sales reports and coordinate business development and operational strategies with management.
Work location
- The role is based in Yemen, with in-person work and travel within Yemen when required.
