Duties And Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuit boards, manufactured by Whelen Engineering, to the component level and return product to its original or upgraded design specifications.
  • Communicate and document design problems, component failures and initial failures on newly designed product.
  • Maintain high work output without sacrificing quality.
  • Complete all administrative functions relating to documentation of work performed and regulatory requirements (Teardown Reports, FAA Form8130-3, Service Tag, Repair Instruction Checklist).
  • Perform revision updates, rebuild, or repair to drawing specifications using a variety of hand tools, test fixtures, electronic test equipment and soldering equipment.

  • Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements
  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
  • Attend scheduled EH&S training program
  • Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans
  • Recommend improved EH&S practices
