Role Description
The Electronic Repair Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, supporting the reliable operation of electronic systems across Miral Experiences’ attractions.
The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of electronic equipment, control systems, and components used in rides, shows, interactive exhibits, and facility infrastructure.
Daily tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, conducting detailed troubleshooting, carrying out component-level repairs, and documenting all work in maintenance systems.
The role also involves collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and safety teams to ensure minimal downtime, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with company procedures.
The technician may support installation and commissioning of new equipment, participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues, and assist in maintaining adequate spare parts and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in Electronics Repair and Electronics Technology, with experience working on low-voltage and control systems.
- Proficiency in Electronic Troubleshooting and general Troubleshooting for complex systems, including the use of diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Hands-on Soldering skills for component-level repairs on PCBs and electronic assemblies.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in maintenance or repair roles within theme parks, entertainment venues, industrial facilities, or similar environments is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Awareness of safety standards and safe work practices, including lockout/tagout and proper handling of electrical equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a diverse, multicultural team environment.
