Electro Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, supervise, and manage electromechanical (MEP) works across projects.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of
• Fire Alarm & Firefighting systems, including:
• Sprinkler systems
• Clean agent systems
• Aerosol systems
• CO₂ systems
• Manage and supervise HVAC systems, including:
• Chillers
• Package units
• Split units
• Window units
• Oversee mechanical works, including:
• Plumbing systems
• Water supply systems
• Sewage systems
• Pumping systems
• Supervise office renovation works, ensuring integration of all MEP systems.
• Manage installation and coordination of security systems, including:
• Access control systems
• Road blockers
• Gates and barrier systems
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in MEP or electromechanical works.
• Proven experience in:
• Fire alarm and firefighting systems
• HVAC systems
• Mechanical and plumbing systems
• Security systems integration
• Strong understanding of MEP design and site execution.
• Familiarity with relevant standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.).
• Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD and related software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial buildings, infrastructure, or government projects.
• Knowledge of integrated building systems (BMS is a plus).
• Professional certifications are an advantage.
