Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings according to safety standards and project requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications, as well as installing cables, conduits, panels, and related components.
The role involves troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing root causes, and performing corrective actions to restore safe and efficient operation.
The Electrician will also conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of systems, document work performed, and coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including installation of wiring, fixtures, and panels.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, with the ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance safely.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts and standards relevant to building and industrial systems.
- Relevant technical diploma, trade certificate, or vocational training in electrical work or a related field.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Physical ability to perform on-site work, including standing, lifting, and working at heights when required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Previous experience as an electrician in construction, facilities, or industrial settings in the GCC region is an advantage.
