Job description

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain in good working condition all power equipment to include: low, medium & high voltage electrical network, transformers, high tension cut-off system, master central control room boards, frequency converter, diagnostic tools for insulation measurement, etc.
• Conduct routine inspection of all electrical & instrumentation equipment installation in the plant.
• Perform routine electrical & instrumentation maintenance activities as indicated on the maintenance plan.
• Undertake non-routine activities ensuring compliance with work order specifications.
• Identify potential and actual problems in machineries or equipment and apply appropriate solution using necessary tools and techniques in order to prevent breakdown or failure.
• Participate in the Root Cause Analysis and contribute solutions.
• Build job plans for repairs and work orders.
• Document daily electrical maintenance activities on electrical logbook and by routine analyses such logs.
• Ensure good housekeeping on machines, equipment and work area.
• Safety - Follow safe work procedures and permit systems. Immediately report unsafe acts or conditions that are encountered in the daily performance of work, Comply with other Company rules and regulations related to Safety, Health & Environment.

Qualifications

• Three-year Electrical Technology Course or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience gained from a cement grinding unit or experience from an integrated plant an advantage on the areas of electrical & instrumentation maintenance.
• Computer literate in Basic Software like word processing and excel sheets
• Multi-Tasking Ability; can contribute to field works when mills are in shutdown
• Accuracy on following procedures and work instructions
• Analytical skills
