Installs, maintains, repairs, and tests electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
May specialize in residential, commercial, industrial, maintenance, or renewable-energy electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Install wiring, lighting, outlets, circuit breakers, and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults; replace faulty switches, sockets, fuses, and other components.
- Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and electrical system tests.
- Ensure work complies with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to complete projects on time.
- Record completed work and materials used; follow safe practices and use PPE.
Skills and requirements
- Knowledge of electrical systems and codes; ability to read technical drawings.
- Problem-solving, troubleshooting, attention to detail, physical stamina, and manual dexterity.
- Communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Pay
- AED 1,200–1,500 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
