Role overview
The role covers electrical control wiring and panel work, including MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, and LV/MV switchgear.
Key responsibilities
- Perform control and power wiring for electrical panels and switchgear assemblies.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuit drawings.
- Install and terminate relays, contactors, circuit breakers, CTs, meters, and control devices.
- Wire and assemble LV/MV switchgear panels, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, and other distribution panels.
- Troubleshoot wiring faults, control circuit issues, and electrical connection problems.
- Conduct continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and functional testing as required.
- Verify wiring against approved drawings and project specifications and quality standards.
Preferred qualification
- A Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical is preferred.
Compensation
